I first went to India in 1982 to the Botany Department of Sri Venkateshwara University in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. I have now been there nearly 30 times, my last visit being in 2015. I have always experienced wonderful hospitality from University staff and students and I have made many friends in the town and in the nearby village of Thumulagunta. I stay in the University guesthouse. |
