Kadapa visit   February 2004

I visited Imran where in Kadapa where his family now live and he studies engineering. He took me to visit two nearby churches where it was assumed I am a missionary from the London Mission. Next day we went for a bike ride (motorbike) with friends Moiz and Bukhari to a ruined fort/palace of the emperor Tippu Sultan (18th Century) beside a lake. This was planned by Imran so that I could take pictures of waterbirds, but he forgot it was summer so it was completely dry.
Our first church.
It would have been perfect if the reflections really did indicate a big cool pool.
2nd church.
Place for another quiet cooling off session; I persuaded Imran that silence is essential.
I assume it is a catholic church
Camping with camels. They are driven in big herds from Rajasthan to provide camel meat
They seem relaxed enough, having a nice chat
Part of huge fields of sunflowers near Imran's home
My lake for watching water birds
