Our September trip
Pleasley, near Mansfield (Sep 13). Halfway to Duddo (Nigel’s). Very simple – just a field. OK for one night. There are many sites around here so not sure which it was. Look here:
Beadnell Northumberland. On coast. Separated from beach by the road. No problem. Good facilities and nice restaurant in the village. CCC site.
Linwater near Edinburgh. Good site with good walks. Very near Edinburgh airport. Access at airport (to drop off Hugh) was difficult. Recommend he goes by taxi to airport in future.
