Southampton, Headington/Barton (by A 423), Wheatley, Thame, Aylesbury, Ivanhoe, Whipsnade; past Dunstable, & Houghton Regis, Fitwick, clophill, Baldock, Royston, Trumpington, Cherry Hinton: past Newmarket, Bury St. Edmunds, Stowmarket, Earl stoham, Dennington, Yoxford, Westleton; past Sowmarket, Newmarket, Cambridge, (St. Neots road) Highfields, Caldecote; past St. Neots, Bedford, Turvey, Olney, ewport Pagnall, Buckingham, (A 43), Islip, Barton, Cowley, (A34) Kennington, Home.

Note: Our plans were disrupted by flooding between Bedford and Milton Keynes (A 421) and other places including route to our planned campsite at Beckley near Fislop, so we spent 2 hours in traffic jams in Oxford and came home a day early.

  A good site although beneath the flight path into Luton airport.
 
  The field was excellent for a visit from Richard, Pat, Sean, Kim and their children (Cillian and Ashlyn), who were soon excited to be launching rockets with Kim

We were taken to their home for dinner by special friends Ram and Deepa to be entertained by their son Kaivalya (Kiv)

  Westleton We 'camped' in the grounds of Barnabee's bookshop opposite out friends in Fiske cottage (John and Debbie Shepherd)
