We joined Laura and Phil Hewitt We were pitch 53

The main reason for this trip was to test the awning.

It was excellent but hard work to inflate (by Phil's hand).


 
  The inflatable awning is the Outdoor Revolution Cayman air Driveaway Awning. It is designed to link to the van with a system that makes it easy to undo and driveaway. BUT it is perfect if the linking part is rolled up and if it is raining the van waning can wind out .

New Forest Centenary Club Campsite

Partly to test electric pump inflation of new awning.

We were on pitch 148. The site is very large but beautifully arranged so that it deoes not feel large.

 
    We woke to thesongs of blackbird, robin,wren, blackcap
