Bowfield Farm, Boldron, near Barnard Castle and Scotch Corner Went here last year. One of best campsites in UK, Run by Wendy and Mark with their son Josh. Accompanied by Hardwick Sheep and nesting Curlew, Redshank, Lapwing and Oystercatchers. | |
The ewe did not care for the lamb so they were isolated in a pen next to us. Now happy. | Herdwick sheep have black lambs which become grey. Very hardy sheep |
